Roman, 5th-7th cent. A.D.
Beaker-shaped, greenish transparent glass with three vertical loops and thickend rim. The bronze hanging device is composed of several elements, with three hooks to insert into the loops and a main hook to hang the lamp. Base of glass slightly worn.
Provenance: Coll. Dr. Kreuzer, Munich. German art market, 1970's-1980's.
