Разноцветный фаянс 6-ой и 18-ой династий.

Фаянс, изобретенный во времена Древнего царства (примерно к концу 2-ой династии), вначале красили содержащими медь пигментами, и потому он был голубой и зеленый.

Но во времена конца 5-ой и  6-ой династии начали пытаться использовать другие пигменты, в частности, черный.

Description - 58 faience composite tubular beads, some with 2 rods with through-holes; others with 3 rods, and some with a stringing hole attached; mostly blue, blue-green, or grey blue; 5 red, 1 yellow. Similar to UC761, 763 and 1433-1437. One with incised shape.

Object group - beads pendants

Description - Reconstructed bead necklace; faience. 83 bunches of grapes; 47 white petals; 57 red petals; 27 red dates; 30 yellow mandrakes; 13 yellow dates; 43 turquoise pendants; 12 green and blue corn flowers; 23 green palm-leafs. Some beads broken. Eight rows of beads. Conservation revealed a turquoise bead (11th from right) to have a cartouche of Tutankhamun.
